12/10/24…………Morning Manna…………..
If you need healing watch out for distractions and don’t let them stir you in the wrong direction. Distractions can come from many sources, including people, medical devices, or your own thoughts. Distraction 1: yourself Distraction 2: the adversary Distraction 3: the company of people surrounding you. Distraction 4: doubt/lies/fear. Distraction 5: false hope. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8. Distraction can cause destruction in your family, and in ministries. The faithful need to guard your “ear gate, heart gate, eye gate.” These entries are some of the simplest ways the enemy comes in to kill, steal, and destroy. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Cor. 10:13. The verse can be interpreted to mean that God will help people when they face temptation. People can respond to temptation by resisting it with the power of the Holy Spirit. Some things that can be done to overcome temptation include praying for strength, studying the scriptures daily, avoiding tempting situations, and avoiding being around people who try to influence you to do wrong. Cover your home with daily prayer and speak the blood of Jesus over your door. Maintain spiritual “eye contact” on your destination. “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matt. 14:30 Distracted by a wind current, small as it may be, however, it was enough to make him begin to sink. Oh, how easy it is to be distracted. The Bible also says that overcoming distraction is a key factor in success. The Apostle Paul said, “I’ll let nothing separate me from the love of God.” You need healing, stay focused on God’s word and promises. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success.” Jos. 1:8 WHY? BECAUSE I BELIEVE GOD!!! -
